• As Bloody Slash opens one of your SIGNI columns in exchange for banishing one of your opponent's SIGNI, it normally does not straight-up reduce the opponent's number of attacks like Baroque Defense does. As such, Bloody Slash is best used when one of your opponent's SIGNI has the potential to enable two or more Life Cloth crushes, is able to attack through the SIGNI in front of it, or when one of your opponent's SIGNI is unable to attack. These situations include:
  • Bloody Slash can interrupt spells when used as a Spell Cut-In to banish/trash the SIGNI targeted for the spell's effect, preventing the opponent from following through with the spell's effect. [1]
