Cards (カード Kādo) are the basic game pieces of WIXOSS.
Outside the game[]
WIXOSS cards are of the standard Magic: the Gathering card size—that is, their dimensions are 2.5 x 3.5 inches (6.35 x 8.89 cm). They are primarily obtained from booster packs and constructed decks, although certain promotions will also yield WIXOSS cards.
Inside the game[]
To play WIXOSS, players build decks of 40 cards and LRIG decks of up to 12 cards.
All cards are classified into colors and card types. There are five colors in WIXOSS: 
white, 
red, 
blue, 
green, and 
black, each with their own strengths and weaknesses; in addition, some cards are 
colorless. Additionally, cards may have one of seven card types, LRIG, SIGNI, spells, ARTS, Resonas, keys, and/or PIECEs, which designate the role the card plays in the game. All cards have abilities or effects that specify the capabilities of that card in the game.
When a game starts, each player draws five cards from their deck to serve as their starting hand. Cards may be moved between areas of the game, called zones, through game processes or by the effects of cards. Players primarily fight with their LRIG and SIGNI cards, while other card types are used to give the user an edge in the game.
