Class (クラス Kurasu) is a property of SIGNI. Classes do not have inherent rules or abilities, but many card abilities only affect SIGNI with a certain class. A SIGNI class tends to generalize the theme of SIGNI belonging in that class.
A SIGNI's class appears at the center-right area of the card, at the bottom right of its card art and the top right of its actual card text.
Most SIGNI generally have a single class, broken up into two parts: a general type of "Spirit" (精 Sei) or "Tone" (奏 Sō) followed by the more specific "race." The latter is the primary class used for support, while the former is used to classify other classes. Each Spirit/Performer class has 5-6 classes associated with it, and before the Key Selection format, each of these classes had a different color (occasionally, there were two classes associated with a color and Spirit type, such as Jewel and Ore and Terra Beast and Aerial Beast; both of these classes would be heavily linked and often share the same support).
Before WXK-P01 Klaxon and the Key Selection format, classes were assigned one primary color. SIGNI whose color were not the typical color of their class had their names marked with special symbols noted below, and their kana reading had a word added to it. After the beginning of Key Selection, classes largely stopped adhering to specific colors, and these symbols were dropped.

Diva Selection replaced "Spirit" classes with "Tone" classes as part of its diva theme, with each "Tone" class corresponding to a previous "Spirit" type. This does not generally affect the support a SIGNI will be affected by; for example, a Nature Spirit: Cosmos SIGNI and a Nature Tone: Cosmos SIGNI will both receive support from effects that support Cosmos SIGNI. However, only the former will work for the effect of Mutual Prosperity, which requires "Nature Spirit" SIGNI, and "Nature Spirit: Cosmos" and "Nature Tone: Cosmos" are treated as being different classes for the purposes of cards such as At =Tre=, the Opened Gate.
