To erase (消す kesu) a SIGNI Zone is to render it nonexistent for a period of time.
Whenever a SIGNI Zone is erased, all of the cards on it are put into the trash, including SIGNI, cards attached to those SIGNI, cards underneath those SIGNI, Traps, and Seeds. Additionally, Viruses and Gates are also removed. Those cards and objects will not be returned to the SIGNI Zone once it stops being erased. Any effects that trigger whenever a card leaves the field will still trigger.
As long as a SIGNI Zone does not exist, cards cannot be placed on it.
If a SIGNI attacks while the SIGNI Zone in front of it is erased, it will deal damage to the opponent, as there is no SIGNI in front of it.
Erasing a SIGNI Zone does not affect the positions and positional relations of the SIGNI Zones. If a player's left SIGNI Zone is erased, their center SIGNI Zone does not become their left SIGNI Zone. If a player's center SIGNI zone is erased, their left and right SIGNI Zones do not become adjacent.
There are currently only four cards that erase SIGNI Zones: Fractal Cage, Arachne, Natural Planet Queen, Umr =Tre=, Key to Salvation, and Twinkling Eyes of Doom.
