Gate

A Gate (ゲート Gēto) is a game object that can be manipulated by certain LRIGs.

The effects of certain cards put Gates on SIGNI Zones. Gates being on SIGNI Zones have no effects in themselves, but SIGNI on SIGNI Zones with Gates on them can be affected by effects that specify SIGNI on Gates. A SIGNI Zone can only have one Gate on it at a time. Gates are permanent; once placed, they will remain for the rest of the game.

In Key Selection, Umr places Gates on the opponent's SIGNI Zones, using them to penalize SIGNI in the same SIGNI Zone as the Gate.

In Diva Selection, Gates are associated with Defense Faction SIGNI and the LRIGs LION and Tamago. LION and Tamago place Gates on their own SIGNI Zones, and various Defense Faction SIGNI gain enhancements if they're in the same SIGNI Zone as a Gate.
