Level (レベル Reberu) is a characteristic that LRIG and SIGNI cards have. It determines the relative strength of LRIG and SIGNI cards, such that cards with higher levels are more powerful.
Each player starts the game with one level 0 LRIG. Once per turn, during their grow phase, a player may grow their LRIG, replacing it with a LRIG whose level is 1 greater. Players can only put SIGNI onto the field whose level is equal to or less than their LRIG's level, and the sum of the levels of their SIGNI cannot exceed that LRIG's limit.
If a player somehow has SIGNI whose levels exceed their LRIG's, or if the sum of the levels of their SIGNI exceed their LRIG's limit, that player puts SIGNI into the trash by rule-based action until level and limit are not exceeded.
If a player is using assist LRIGs, they may grow them into assist LRIG cards whose level is 1 greater than them during the appropriate use timing. The level of a player's assist LRIGs cannot exceed the level of their center LRIG.
Typically, a player's LRIG is expected to reach 4 over the course of a game (or 3 in the Diva Selection format), although exceptions exist, with players able to opt to stop at 2 or go to 5.
