Lostorage incited WIXOSS (ロストレージインサイテッドウィクロス, Rosutorēji Insaiteddo U~ikurosu) is an original anime series by J.C.STAFF, scheduled to begin on October 7, 2016. It is a continuation of the WIXOSS franchise, being the second anime created for it since the original selector infected WIXOSS and selector spread WIXOSS series. It will be followed by a second season/cour, known as Lostorage conflated WIXOSS.

Introduction

In this world, the game "WIXOSS" is a popular hit. A chosen few WIXOSS players, known as Selectors, have special cards called "LRIGs." Now, Selectors come from all ages and genders, and wager their memories in Selector battles in the form of coins. Those who lose have the memories they wagered erased, while those who win can alter the lost memories of the loser.

Ikebukuro—High school second year Suzuko Homura returns to this city she lived in in her childhood.

She has precious memories of swearing to Chinatsu Morikawa, who she was good friends with when they were little, that "we'll always be friends!" Now that she might meet Chinatsu again… just the thought makes Suzuko's heart race.

Unable to immediately fit in at the high school she transferred to, she feels out of place—until one day, thinking that she would be able to make friends if she learns to play WIXOSS, she buys a deck at a card shop after school. When she opens the deck of cards at home, a girl who was drawn on a card starts to move and speak.

"Welcome, Selector."

People chosen to be Selectors must participate in a battle where they wager five coins where all of their memories are stored. If they reclaim all of the coins, they can escape from the game. However, if they lose all of their coins, and are defeated, they must suffer a penalty…

"Lostorage"—What is fated for Suzuko, who was caught up in this absurd game!? At the same time as Suzuko, Chinatsu lays her hands on…

袋 ——幼少期にこの街で過ごした高校2年生の穂村すず子が戻ってきた。

「ずっと友達だよ!」幼いころに仲良しだった森川千夏と誓った大切な記憶。 その千夏とまた会えるかもしれない⋯それだけですず子の胸は高鳴る。

転入した高校にもすぐには溶は込めず、早々に浮いた存在となっていたある日、

「WIXOSS」を覚えれは友達ができるかも⋯⋯そう思って学校帰りに立ち寄ったカードショップでデッキを購入する。 家に帰りカードデッキを開封すると、カードの中に描かれた少女が動きだし、口を開く。

「ようこそ、セレクター」

selectorとして選ばれた人間は、自分の記憶のすべてが詰まった5枚のコインを賭けたバトルに参加しなければならない。 コインをすべて取り戻し勝利すればこのゲームから脱出できる。逆にコインを全て失い、敗北すると、そのペナルティーとして——。

「Lostorage」———この不条理なゲームに巻き込まれる事となったすず子の運命は!?

そして、すず子と時を同じくして、千夏の手にも⋯⋯

Trivia

• "Lostorage" is a portmanteau of the words "lost" and "storage." The Japanese word 記憶 (kioku) means both "memory" and "storage", appropriate for a story that deals with losing memories.
